THE UNVEILING OF AN HISTORIC MARKER AT CHAZY LANDING
The unvailing and dedication of an historic marker for the first motorized ferry on Lake Champlain between Chazy Landing and Isle LaMotte Vermont opposite the site of Samuel de Champlain's first landing in 1609,
A reception will follow on the lawn where the boat was pulled up on tracks for the winter.
The location of the reception will be on the Lake Shore Road, one quarter mile north of the Miner Farm Road at the old Chazy Landing ferry dock.
